When should I buy my Gala ticket?
Buy your Gala ticket today! This year, we have 150 total seats available for our Chatham Day School community and friends. Ticket sales will close when these sell out or alternatively on April 13 (one week before the Gala).
What is a Sponsor a Teacher Ticket?
The Chatham Day School Gala is of course a fundraiser, but it is also a celebration of community. In that spirit, we provide a complimentary admission to every faculty and staff member who chooses to attend. Our goal each year is to "fully fund" those admissions by selling Sponsor a Teacher Tickets. If you purchase one of these tickets, you do not need to designate a specific faculty or staff member to sponsor. Please feel free to skip the "Detailed Information" section in the ticket checkout (where you would typically enter attendee information).
What is a Teacher Treat?
A Teacher Treat is an extra special after-school activity hosted by your favorite CDS teachers and staff. Some activities are intended for students across grade levels. Others are designed especially for a teacher's specific class or grade. Please check out the activity descriptions for more information about each event! Our CDS teachers and staff generously donate their time to make these "treats" possible.
What should I wear to the Gala?
This year's dress code is cocktail attire (more semi-formal than last year's black tie dress code). Although our event is themed around athletics, we will not be in costume for this event. We look forward to seeing you in your favorite cocktail wear!
Where should I park?
Fairmount Country Club will provide a valet outside the club's main entrance. The main entrance is located by the flag pole and has a circular drive with a portico for easy valet circulation of vehicles.
What do I do if it's raining?
In the case of inclement weather, we recommend using the valet or arriving at the club's main entrance, where the portico provides coverage from precipitation. Additionally, Fairmount Country Club will provide a coat check attendant to accommodate any outerwear.
If I am an Auction winner, where can I pick up my items?
Auction Check-Out will be held in the Fairmount Country Club library (where you will check in for the Gala upon arrival). All certificates and items will be available for pick-up on Gala night (April 20) from 10 PM to 11 PM. Please reach out to the Gala Committee (gala@chathamdayschool.org) if you win an item but need to arrange for alternative pick-up.
